FAQ

Peptide calculator FAQ.

Short answers to common questions about peptide calculator math, units, and site limitations.

What is a peptide calculator?

A peptide calculator is a tool for mass, volume, concentration, dilution, cost, or sequence-property arithmetic related to peptide research workflows.

Can CalcPeptides tell me what dose to use?

No. CalcPeptides does not provide human or animal dosing instructions, treatment guidance, diagnosis, route-of-administration advice, or safety decisions.

Why is mg/mL equal to mcg/uL numerically?

Because 1 mg equals 1000 mcg and 1 mL equals 1000 uL, the ratio keeps the same numeric value.

Are uL and µL the same unit?

Yes. uL is a keyboard-friendly way to write µL, or microliter. Likewise, mcg is commonly used as a keyboard-friendly way to write µg, or microgram.

Can I use this for GLP-1 medications?

You can use the arithmetic explanations to understand concentration and volume math, but not to decide GLP-1 use, dose, treatment, sourcing, or safety. Use FDA-approved labeling and qualified medical guidance for medication questions.

Does CalcPeptides review compounded or unapproved GLP-1 products?

No. CalcPeptides does not review, recommend, compare, or validate compounded, unapproved, or counterfeit GLP-1 products. FDA has warned about safety, quality, and dosing-error concerns with unapproved and compounded GLP-1 products.
